Thanks to the fast tack system and to the multi-tack (M-tack) welding system incorporated into the Gala 3200 TIG AC/DC.
In the previous “Gala Gar informs you”, we talked about welding very fine thicknesses with the Gala 3200 AC/DC. Now we are going to study in depth two ideal systems for sheet metal with those characteristics.
Tack welding is a system whereby the special arc-striking system permits the execution of the spot with maximum precision in terms of its location. The heat input is minimised by the use of a welding pulse for a short space of time.
With respect to Multi-tack, this function makes it possible to reduce to a minimum the heat input in the union of two parts by a seam. A chain of short-lasting tack spots is produced, thus, making cooling between spots possible, and thus minimising the deformation of the material.
If you are still not familiar with the Gala Gar GALA 3200 AC/DC, do not hesitated to consult the catalogue and if you want a demonstration, let us know.
