The project is based on developing a new topology for welding equipment power sources, developed in collaboration with the TEISA Group from the University of Cantabria and it is characterised by its maximum efficiency and minimum energy consumption, a differential in current technologies. This starting point, complemented with a technological study of the welding arc and its control propose a development base that provides a great opportunity for the national and international market.
Gala Gar and Degima face an innovation project with international reach. In a first phase a feasibility study is going to be conducted that will permit the manufacture of a wide range of Multi-process electrical equipment. One of the main tasks is to define the industrialisation plan, as this project gives rise to a new concept for manufacturing this innovative equipment.
